UN Civil Services Examination 2012

The United Nations in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs and Indian Council for Cultural Relations is conducting the Young Professionals Programme (UN Civil Services) Examination 2012, a recruitment initiative that brings new talent to the United Nations through an annual entrance examination.

The examination is open to Indian nationals for the first time after many years.

For young, high-calibre professionals, the programme is a platform for launching a career at the United Nationals.





Qualification :  Bachelor’s or Master’s University Degree in the subject related to the job family that you are applying to. (Fluent in English or French)

Age Limit: 32 years as on 31/12/2012

Qualifications  : MD Microbiology ,Ph.D. in Microbiology, or MBBS with M.Sc. Microbiology.

Experience :  At least two years of experience with mycobacterial culture and DST, molecular diagnostics At least two years experience with developing laboratory systems and networks, planning laboratory strategies.

Pay Scale  : Approximate initial taxable remuneration for the vacancy shall range from INR 94,500/- to 131,400/- pm, to be decided by WHO.
