Churachandpur, August 16, 2025: The Kuki National Organisation (KNO) has announced a significant restructuring within its leadership, appointing Major General TH German as both the Unified Commander of the KNO and Defence Secretary No. 2.
The notification, issued by KNO President PS Haokip, stated that on November 20, 2024, the sixteen armed constituents of KNO had adopted a resolution to function under a single command, known as the Kuki Army. In line with that resolution, Maj Gen TH German was appointed Unified Commander of the organisation.

Following further consultations to strengthen unity among the groups, the KNO leadership has now entrusted him with the additional responsibility of Defence Secretary No. 2, effective August 16, 2025.
The KNO expressed confidence that Maj Gen German will effectively carry out his duties in both roles and invoked blessings for his leadership in guiding the unified command and defence structure of the organisation.
