Dharamshala, July 5, 2025: In a heartfelt show of devotion and unity, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu joined people from all walks of life in Dharamshala to participate in the Long Life Offering (Tenshug) ceremony for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
The event, filled with traditional rituals and prayers, was a collective expression of love, reverence, and hope for the spiritual leader's health and longevity. Young and old, spiritual leaders, devotees, and dignitaries gathered under one roof, reaffirming their deep respect and gratitude for His Holiness’s enduring legacy of peace, wisdom, and compassion.

Following the Tenshug ceremony, Chief Minister Khandu had the opportunity to connect with Richard Gere, the celebrated Hollywood actor and long-time friend of Tibet, who attended the event with his son, Homer James Jigme Gere. Gere’s presence added to the spiritual and emotional weight of the occasion.
