Itanagar, July 2, 2025: Arunachal Pradesh marked a historic moment as the Golden Jubilee of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly was celebrated with solemn dignity and renewed calls for principled leadership.
Hon’ble Governor Lt Gen KT Parnaik (Retd) graced the occasion, honouring 50 years of democratic governance in the frontier state. Chief Minister Pema Khandu, in a message shared on social media, reflected on the journey of the Assembly as one “built on the voices of the people, shaped by duty, and strengthened through democratic resolve.”
Calling it more than just a milestone, CM Khandu emphasized that the celebration should serve as a reminder of the true purpose of public service. “Power means nothing without purpose. Know your responsibilities - only then will your words have value,” he remarked.
