“Rabindranath Tagore, the revered poet and philosopher, is the composer of the national anthems of both India and Bangladesh. An attack on a place associated with his legacy is nothing short of an attack on the shared cultural and literary heritage of our two nations,” the Chief Minister said.
Dr. Saha demanded swift and exemplary punishment for those responsible and urged the caretaker government of Bangladesh to take immediate and strict action.
