Muolhoi, June 7, 2025: The North Cachar Hills Indigenous Students’ Forum (ISF), Muolhoi Village Council, and the project Consultant jointly conducted a site inspection of the upcoming Muolhoi Mini Stadium, a major infrastructure project sanctioned under the directive of Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The stadium, sanctioned with a budget of ₹13.71 crores, follows a decision made on January 23, 2022, and reaffirmed in the meeting chaired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister on May 6, 2025. It is envisioned as a transformative facility that will nurture local sports talent in the Dima Hasao district.
The ISF expressed strong optimism that upon completion, the stadium will provide a vital platform for the region’s youth to showcase and develop their athletic abilities, with the potential to excel at national and international levels.
