Aizawl, June 16, 2025: Mizoram University has achieved notable recognition by securing the 25th position in the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2025 under the Central Universities (Overall) category. The ranking reflects the university’s consistent strides in academic excellence, research, and placement initiatives.
As per the IIRF parameters, Mizoram University performed strongly in Placement Performance (229.6 points), Teaching-Learning Resources & Pedagogy (201.1), and Research Volume and Reputation (188.5). While there is scope for improvement in areas like External Perception & International Outlook (36.6) and Future Orientation (56.6), the overall score affirms the university’s rising trajectory among India's central institutions.
