Imphal, June 17, 2025: As part of the nationwide observance of Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh (JJGV) under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DJ-GUA), the Government of Manipur has launched a focused Ayushman Card Creation Drive and Awareness Campaign from June 15, 2025.
The initiative, rolled out in collaboration with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, aims to ensure health entitlement coverage for all eligible beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in the hill districts of the state.
Implemented through District Implementation Units, the campaign focuses on empowering tribal communities and strengthening their access to quality healthcare services.

Officials highlighted the state’s commitment to inclusive development, with special focus on ensuring no eligible tribal family is left out of this health protection scheme.
