Pherzawl, June 17, 2025: As part of the nationwide Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) campaign, the District Administration of Pherzawl launched a series of outreach programs across Thanlon, Vangai, and Tipaimukh blocks on June 16, 2025.
The campaign aims to ensure saturation of government schemes in tribal villages and runs from June 15 to 30 across India. It was formally launched in the district by Joel G. Haokip, ADC/ADM, Pherzawl on Sunday.
At Thanlon Block, a Comprehensive Service Camp was held at Bukpi Community Hall, under the supervision of ADC Haokip and SDO Lalthanzam, offering services such as Issuance of Tribe & Domicile Certificates, PM-KISAN & Kisan Credit Card registration, Aadhaar updates & seeding, Mission Ujjwala services, Distribution of educational materials, and ICDS screenings and social scheme enrolment.
In Vangai Block, the camp was conducted at Patpuihmun, serving nearby villages Sartuinek and Ngampabung, led by SDO Lalthanzam.
Meanwhile, in Tipaimukh Block, SDO Zosanglur Joute led the camp, which covered Senvawn, Parvachawm, Leisen, and Sipuikhawn villages. Another round is scheduled for June 17.
According to the district administration, over 4,000 beneficiaries from 22 villages are expected to benefit from 15 scheduled camps.

The event was also attended by Joint Secretary Lalrobul Fimate, Additional SP Lunzamung Tungnung, and SDO Lalthanzam, who lauded the collaborative efforts to reach the grassroots.
