New Delhi, June 16, 2025 The Kuki Students’ Organisation, Delhi & NCR, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Lhingneilam Haokip, a native of Thangbuh Village in Kangpokpi District, Manipur, for her exceptional academic and professional achievements in the field of medicine.
Dr. Haokip, daughter of Pu Lunmang Haokip and Pi Hatvei Haokip, recently completed her Postgraduate Degree in Anaesthesiology from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, in April 2025. Adding to this accomplishment, she has secured an impressive All India Rank 13 in the prestigious INI-SS (Institute of National Importance Super-Speciality Entrance Test) in the discipline of Neuroanaesthesiology and Neurocritical Care.

With this milestone, Dr. Haokip becomes the first person from the Kuki community to qualify for a super-speciality medical programme, a landmark achievement that has been hailed as a moment of immense pride for the entire community.
Currently residing in Adhchini Village, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, Dr. Haokip’s academic journey and dedication stand as a beacon of inspiration for countless Kuki students and professionals across India - especially for those pursuing excellence in the medical field.
In a formal statement, the Department of Education, Kuki Students’ Organisation, Delhi & NCR, commended Dr. Haokip for her trailblazing success and wished her continued accomplishments in the years ahead. The organisation expressed hope that her example would ignite aspiration and determination among the younger generation of the community.
