Aizawl, June 12, 2025: Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Andy L. Khobung of Chanmari West for securing All-India Rank 304 in the UPSC Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (II) 2024. In a post on his official Facebook page, the Chief Minister expressed immense pride in Andy's achievement, calling it a moment of great honor for the entire state.
"This is a remarkable milestone," Lalduhoma stated. "Andy L. Khobung's success in one of the toughest examinations in the country is a matter of great pride for Mizoram. After more than seven years without a Mizo youth entering the Combined Defence Services, this achievement is a sign of hope and inspiration for our young generation."

The Chief Minister highlighted Andy’s entry into the Officer’s Training Academy (OTA), where he will receive formal military training before being commissioned as an officer in the Indian Armed Forces. He praised Andy's determination, discipline, and commitment, adding that such accomplishments bring national attention to the potential of Mizo youth.
