Governor Bhalla Reviews Key Development Projects in Manipur

Imphal, June 3, 2025: The Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, held a series of high-level review meetings at the Raj Bhavan, Imphal, to assess progress on major state initiatives.

In the first session, the Governor reviewed the construction progress of the Civil Secretariat with the Public Works Department (PWD). The Chief Engineer provided a detailed update on the timeline and status of the project.

Later, Governor Bhalla chaired a separate meeting with the Loktak Development Authority (LDA) to evaluate the implementation of the Integrated Management Plan (IMP) and other conservation efforts related to Loktak Lake. He acknowledged the difficulties faced by the LDA and assured full support to their ecological preservation mission.

The meetings were attended by key state officials, including the Chief Secretary, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), Principal Secretaries, Commissioners, and senior administrators.
