Itanagar, June 14, 2025: Hillang Yajik has etched her name in history as the first woman from Arunachal Pradesh to win an international Gold medal in physique sports, securing 1 Gold and 1 Silver at the 15th South Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championships 2025 held in Thimphu, Bhutan.
Congratulating her on this remarkable achievement, Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to X (formerly Twitter) to express pride in her trailblazing success. “Your dedication, discipline, and determination have carved a proud chapter for Arunachal and the nation,” he wrote.
