New Delhi, June 4, 2025, Virthli: A delegation from the All Bharat Adivasi Vikas Parishad (ABAVP), led by Youth Wing President Shri Lucky Bhau Jadhav, met with Union Tribal Affairs Minister Shri Jual Oram to raise pressing concerns related to the ongoing ethnic violence in Manipur.
The delegation included Ms. Marina Singson, North East Zonal Vice President, along with Mr. Lenin, Mr. Barukh, and Mr. Henmin, Vice Presidents from Manipur. During the meeting, the delegation submitted a detailed memorandum highlighting the ground realities, challenges faced by tribal communities, and the urgent need for intervention and support.
In a symbolic gesture reflecting the emotional and human toll of the conflict, the delegation presented the book "Tears of the Innocent" by Pu Mangboi Haokip and a compiled Timeline of the Manipur Violence, underscoring the chronology and intensity of the crisis.
The memorandum called attention to the displacement, trauma, and continuing insecurity experienced by the affected communities of Manipur. The ABAVP leaders urged the Ministry to ensure justice, rehabilitation, and long-term policy safeguards for tribal and marginalized populations caught in the unrest.

Minister Jual Oram received the delegation with assurance that their concerns would be seriously examined, and appropriate steps would be taken in consultation with relevant authorities.
