New Delhi, May 23, 2025, Virthli (ONP): Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma is currently on an official visit to New Delhi, where he met with key Union Ministers and attended a high-profile investors summit to advance the state’s development priorities.
Earlier today, CM Pu Lalduhoma held a meeting with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to discuss critical fiscal matters concerning Mizoram. He was joined by Member of Parliament Pu Richard Vanlalhmangaiha and senior state officials, underlining the state’s commitment to strengthening financial cooperation with the Centre.
In another significant engagement, the Chief Minister met with Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil. The two leaders discussed ongoing and future water-related infrastructure projects in Mizoram. The Chief Minister was accompanied by Chief Secretary Shri Khilli Ram Meena and other senior officials during the discussion aimed at addressing the state’s water resource challenges.

Additionally, CM Pu Lalduhoma participated in the “Rising Northeast: Investors Summit 2025,” inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mizoram’s dedicated stall at the summit drew strong interest from investors and corporate leaders, showcasing the state’s unique products and emerging opportunities across sectors.
The visit marks a strategic push by the Mizoram government to enhance infrastructure, attract investments, and strengthen centre-state collaboration.
