November 22,2023: Media and Publicity Cell of the Indigenous Tribal Leaders’ Forum (ITLF) today released a book titled ‘Manipur Mayhem: Key Players & Events’ at YPA-GHQ Hall, Hiangtam Lamka. The book was released by Zo United Convenor Albert Renthlei and dedicated to God's glory by Rev. Dr. LH Jacky Simte, Secretary Goodwill Council, in the presence of various CSOs leaders.
The book published by the ITLF Media and Publicity Cell is a compilation of articles, documents, and photographs that bear witness to a sombre period in the chronicles of Kuki- Zo people. The contents of the book consist of five sections.
The book also carries narratives that are both heart- wrenching and heart-warming. They speak of loss and sorrow, but they also speak of courage and hope. They tell of lives upended by conflict, but they also tell of lives rebuilt with resilience and solidarity.
The book also explores the key players and events that shaped the course of history for the Kuki-Zo people. The book itself was dedicated to the all Kuki-Zo martyrs whose lives have been lost in the hands of the Meiteis.
