Qualification : Graduate in Engineering/ Technology/ AMIE with maximum 65% marks in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical, Instrumentation & Control/ Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power Electronics/ Power Engineering.
2. Mechanical : 175 posts
Qualification : Graduate in Engineering/ Technology/ AMIE with maximum 65% marks in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engg/ Production & Industrial Engg/ Thermal/ Mechanical & Automation/ Power Engineering.
3. Civil : 60 posts
Qualification : Graduate in Engineering/ Technology/ AMIE with maximum 65% marks in Civil engineering.
4. Control & Instrumentation : 100 posts
Qualification : Graduate in Engineering/ Technology/ AMIE with maximum 65% marks in electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Power/ Power Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electrical & Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control.
5. Finance : 40 posts
Qualification : Degree in CA/ ICWA.
Pay Scale : Rs.24900-Rs.50500.
Age Limit : Upper age limit for NTPC is 27 as on 01-01-2011 For Finance – 29 years.
