Songpi, November 12, 2025: The Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO) Churachandpur held its general election for the 2025–2028 term on November 11 at M. Songgel Community Hall, electing a new team of office bearers to lead the district unit.
The newly elected leaders are Minlal Gangte as President, DJ Haokip as Vice President, Lunboi Haokip as General Secretary, Jacob Seiminthang Zou as Information Secretary, and M. Kamminthang Haokip as Education Secretary.
The oath-taking ceremony was administered by Doumang Haokip, President of KSO General Headquarters (GHQ).
KSO Churachandpur, one of the most active student bodies in Manipur, continues to play a vital role in promoting the welfare, education, and rights of the Kuki community.
