Imphal, July 12, 2025: In a concerted effort to strengthen governance and ensure the well-being of its citizens, the Chief Secretary of Manipur chaired a high-level coordination meeting today at the Old Secretariat, Babupara, focusing on critical administrative issues.
The meeting brought together senior government officials, Deputy Commissioners of all districts, and departmental directors to review and streamline operations related to relief and internal displacement.
Key agendas discussed included:
• Operation and Management of Relief Camps
• Development of a Dedicated Portal for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)
• Mandatory Biometric Enrolment for IDPs
• Other Administrative and Coordination Matters
The meeting aimed to enhance inter-departmental collaboration and ensure efficient delivery of services, particularly for internally displaced persons affected by recent unrest in the state.
