Namsai, July 12, 2025: In a significant boost to public healthcare infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh, the newly established Maternal & Child Health Wing of the District Hospital, Namsai was officially dedicated to the people today.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Chowna Mein, BJP State President Shri Kaling Moyong, Member of Parliament Shri Tapir Gao, Health Minister Shri Kento Jini, and MLAs Shri Zingnu Namchoom, Shri Kamlung Mossang, and Shri Likha Soni. Their presence underscored a unified commitment to strengthening medical care in the region.

Leaders jointly inspected the new wing and other hospital facilities, engaging with patients across different wards. In a warm gesture, fruits were distributed to patients, reflecting a compassionate approach to governance.
The dedicated Maternal & Child Health Wing is expected to enhance maternal care, reduce infant mortality, and offer better health outcomes for women and children in the district.
