Moscow, July 14, 2025: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, attending as the Chief Guest, delivered the keynote address at the Closing Ceremony of Bharat Utsav 2025, held at the historic Manezhnaya Square in Moscow.
In his remarks, CM Rio celebrated the deepening strategic and cultural ties between India and Russia, noting that the festival has played a significant role in strengthening people-to-people connections. “Bharat Utsav 2025 has brought us closer,” he said, “showcasing the magic of Indian culture, music, dance, yoga, and cuisine.”
This year’s edition of the festival featured special highlights from Nagaland and Gujarat, captivating audiences with vibrant cultural performances, traditional crafts, and regional cuisines. The event witnessed wide international participation and was praised for promoting cross-cultural understanding.
CM Rio expressed pride in representing Nagaland on the global stage and reaffirmed India’s commitment to nurturing its longstanding friendship with Russia through cultural diplomacy and shared values.
