Itanagar, July 1, 2025: In a landmark move toward digital governance, Arunachal Pradesh has achieved 100% implementation of the e-Office system across the state, making it one of the most digitally integrated state administrations in the country.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to social media to announce the milestone, highlighting the scale and impact of the initiative under the "PEMA 3.0 – Year of Reforms & Growth" campaign.
“Arunachal Pradesh is going fully digital with 100% e-Office implementation across the state. Here’s what efficient governance looks like,” Khandu tweeted.
Key Achievements of the e-Governance Reforms:
• 967 government offices onboarded to the e-Office platform
• Over 2.38 lakh files created digitally
• A massive 63.86 lakh files moved through the system
• 3.87 crore e-Receipts generated
These achievements signify a complete shift from traditional paperwork to a digital workplace solution aimed at improving efficiency, transparency, and accountability in government functioning.
The state has also:
• Rolled out 18 citizen-facing e-services
• Made 210 Common Services Centres (CSCs) operational to enhance public access to digital services
• Developed a Satellite-Based Monitoring System through the State Remote Sensing Application Centre, Itanagar, to monitor and geo-tag government projects
• Introduced AI-based assessment of MDR (Monthly Development Reports)

Chief Minister Khandu praised the dedicated efforts of the state machinery and highlighted Arunachal’s emergence as a digital governance leader in the Northeast.
