Aizawl, June 25, 2025: Acclaimed Mizo filmmaker TC Vanlalzauva has earned national recognition once again with his two films - “This Is Mizoram; A Traveler’s Paradise” and “ROMAWII” - officially selected for screening at major Indian film festivals. Notably, ROMAWII has also been selected for the International ART Film Festival of India.
The documentary “This Is Mizoram; A Traveler’s Paradise” will be featured under the Indian Cinema Competition Section - Documentary, with its screening scheduled for August 23, 2025. Meanwhile, ROMAWII has been selected under the Indian Cinema Competition Section - Short Film.
Vanlalzauva, a trailblazer in Mizo cinema, is a graduate of the National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi, and has played a pivotal role in promoting theatre and film in Mizoram. His early contributions through audio dramas, stage productions, and films have left a lasting impact on the state's cultural scene.

Known for works such as Lenmawii, Luahloh Lungdi, and Nicky Cruz, Vanlalzauva is celebrated for his all-round creative involvement - from direction and production to scriptwriting.
