Aizawl, May 24, 2025, Virthli (ONP): Tv. Andy L Khobung, son of Lalhmingsanga Khobung of Chanmari West, Aizawl, has successfully cleared the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (II), 2024, as per the results declared today.

Notably, Andy’s younger brother, Dayne Thiamsangliana, had earlier cleared the National Defence Academy (NDA) (I) examination in 2020 and was commissioned into the 19 Garhwal Rifles in 2024.
Andy’s achievement in one of India’s most competitive defence examinations is a proud milestone for his family and a moment of pride for Mizoram.
