HSA Tuiṭhaphai JHQ and HDA Host Career Guidance Programme at Rengkai

Rengkai, June 14, 2025: In a joint initiative to empower and guide students, the Hmar Students' Association (HSA) Tuiṭhaphai Joint Headquarters and the Hmar Doctors' Association (HDA) successfully organized an Awareness cum Career Guidance Programme at the VTI Auditorium in Muolhlum, Rengkai.

The event was hosted by Nk. Priscilla Lalvarmawi, Statistic Secretary of HSA Tuiṭhaphai JHQ, and officially inaugurated with an opening address by Tv. VL Songate, Secretary of Education. Special remarks were also delivered by Dr. Lalmalsawm Pulamte, Secretary of HDA, and Pu Jeffrey Saihmang, President of HSA Tuiṭhaphai JHQ, who emphasized the importance of youth guidance and community engagement.

A panel of distinguished professionals served as resource persons, each addressing critical aspects of academic and professional development:

Dr. L. Fimate delivered an inspiring Motivational Talk,

Dr. HL Liensang spoke on Job Opportunities,

Dr. Christopher Rolawmum shared strategies for NEET Exam Preparation,

Dr. Lalzarzolien Hmar discussed Digital Impact on Youth, and

Dr. Phirthangmoi presented on The Life of a Doctor.

The sessions were well-received, with active student participation during the interaction rounds. Beyond their individual topics, the speakers also touched on broader themes, including youth responsibilities, cultural identity, and national contribution.

Tv. Ramngaium Songate, General Secretary of HSA Tuiṭhaphai JHQ, also addressed the gathering, encouraging students to stay committed to their goals and value the opportunities provided by such platforms.
