The team visited the Sadbhavna Mandap Relief Centre in Tuibong and Dorcas Veng Relief Centre, where they interacted with displaced families and assessed the ongoing relief efforts. The visit aimed to provide reassurance, evaluate the adequacy of facilities, and identify additional needs for those affected by ongoing unrest.

During the visit, the delegation inaugurated several key support initiatives:

A Creche Facility to provide safe care for young children,

A Women’s Tailoring Program to empower displaced women with livelihood skills, and

A Creche-cum-Children’s Library to support the educational and emotional well-being of children in the camps.

In a heartwarming moment, children from the camps presented their artwork and handmade crafts, showcasing their resilience and creativity in the face of adversity.

As a gesture of encouragement, 15 students from both camps who successfully cleared the 2025 High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination were felicitated with gifts and appreciation certificates.
