Saikot, June 2, 2025, Virthli: The inaugural Kawlhminglien Memorial Award was formally presented in a solemn and celebratory program held on Monday evening at 7:00 PM at CSC Hall, Saikot.
The event was hosted by Tv. Zakaria and Nk. Kimthamawi, with opening remarks and dedication led by Rev. Dr. Huolthanglura. Pu James Cole, Chief of Saikot, officially inaugurated the program, sharing insights on its significance. Rev. Ros Infimate, President of Hmar Inpui (General Headquarters), graced the event as Special Guest, delivering a meaningful address to the awardees and attendees.
A Pastoral Prayer and special message was offered by Rev. Timothy Lalzuimawi, Pastor of ICI. Words of encouragement and support were also delivered by leaders from various organizations, including HSA, MZP, Saikot VA, Val Upa, SLA, SWF, and SYC.
The program featured inspirational songs by Nk. Roneimawi, Nk. Ruthi Ralsun, Tv. Lalsiammawia, and Tv. Zakaria. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Pu Lalrinmawi, followed by a closing address from Capt. Lalhmangaiha, Commanding Officer of the Salvation Army.
