The MP also emphasized the need to construct roads using rigid (concrete) pavement, citing the state’s vulnerability to heavy rainfall which often damages traditional flexible roads. He advocated for durable construction methods to ensure long-term sustainability, aligning with the preferences of the Mizoram state government and Chief Minister. The Minister acknowledged the concerns and assured follow-up action.
