CM Conrad Sangma Inaugurates Hubert Rosario Road and Health Festival in WJH

Jowai, May 21, 2025, Virthli (ONP): Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma inaugurated the newly constructed 1.130 km Hubert Rosario Road in West Jaiñtia Hills on Tuesday. The road leads to the Hubert Acupressure Centre in Spein, Mookaswan, and is named in honour of Archbishop Hubert D’Rosario, a revered figure known for his spiritual leadership and contribution to the church’s mission in Northeast India.

Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Sangma highlighted the Archbishop’s lifelong service in guiding the faithful and strengthening the church’s outreach. The road, he said, is a tribute to his enduring legacy and commitment to the people.

The twin inaugurations mark a significant step in improving connectivity and encouraging inclusive, community-based healthcare initiatives in the district.
