CONDEMNATION AND OPPOSED OF 24th NOVEMBER INCIDENT AND ITS VIRAL VIDEO.
The Thadou Students' Association, Jiribam and Tamenglong branch (TSA J&T) condemned and oppose in the strongest term the allegedly physical assaulted of an indigenous vendor woman in front of many peoples near Oriental High School, Mission compound of Jail road, Silchar on 24th November 2018 and also a video clip of the incident captured, which is viral.
The Thadou Students' Association, Jiribam and Tamenglong branch (TSA J&T) feels deeply pain and lament over the physical assault and term the acts or incident as "cheap and uncivilised acts". And the viral video of the incident, which could effects Peace , Harmony and understanding among the people, which is a must in a society. Such unwanted barbaric and uncivilised actions upon a poor and helpless indigenous vendor would not be tolerated by the Thadou Students' Association, Jiribam and Tamenglong branch (TSA J&T). And to stop the video virals in social media which could bring hatred and enmity among the people.
The Thadou Students' Association, Jiribam and Tamenglong branch (TSA J&T) further questions the Government of Assam and also the Central government that, "Didn't the incident effect or break the constitution of India, equality and Human Right?".
The TSA J&T is really against such type of uncivilised action and urges the concerned authority to give a stern punishment to the culprits who were involved in the actions as per the law and to take necessary actions so that such incident would not occur in future again. And also urges the concerned authority to give adequate compensation to the poor and helpless injured persons, including their medical treatments. [transcript by Virthli]
