The Chorei Students Association (CSA) feel extremely dejected with the incidents took place on 5th December 2018 and it's a matter of distress as a situation went quite lamentable seeing that an Indigenous vendor woman allegedly assaulted physically in front of many peoples in Jail Road, Silchar. The disceptation on the matter led to unfavorable consequences to the victims.
Therefore, we stand against the unlawful act and condemn strongly the incident.
We expressed our deepest concerns for all those who were injured in the said incident and pray to God for their early recovery.
We extended our cooperation and support to the victims. We also like to seek the early action of the concern authority to probe the incident and book the culprits and punish as per law.
We further demand to grant adequate compensation to the injured persons, including medical treatments.
