Joint Meeting of Kuki Innpi Churachandpur, Hmar Innpui and Zomi Council GHQ, Churachandpur, Manipur

After deliberate discussion of the present prevailing unrest/situation in Manipur. the Joint meeting of the Hmar Innpui, Zomi Council General Headquaer and the Kuki Innpi Churachandpur unanimously resolved the following points.
Resolution 1: The joint meeting strongly condemn the untoward incident at Moreh Hill Town, Chandel District on the 18 August 2015, which is believed to have occurred as fallout of the ongoing ILP agitation in Manipur valley. The committees appeal to all communities at Mored that such untoward incidents should not be repeated in future as co-existence is neccessary to manintain Peace and Tranquility.
Resolution 2: The joint meeting also unanimously resolved and appeal that ILP related activities and agitation should not be carried out or conducted in Churachandpur district in the interest of the general public.
Resolution 3: The joint meeting resolved that all community in Churachandpur Disrict shall stand united in any un-eventual event.
Resolution 4: The joint meeting further fervently appeal to all agitators in general and the government machinery in particular to give safe passage to vehicle plying along Teddim Road from Churachandpur to Imphal and back which are stucked or blocked due to un-announced/unprecedented flash strikes and bandhs. Further, it appeal that, ambulance ferrying patients/death body be fully exempted.
Resolution 5: The committees further resolved that a joint meeting shall be called as and when needed to discuss issues and policy.
