Gamlien Hmar new HTF boss

SILCHAR, Nov 25: In a bid to reju­ve­nate the out­fit, the Hill Tigers Force (HTF) replaced its ‘commander-in-chief’ and finance sec­re­tary who had recently been arrested by the army. HTF, a mil­i­tant out­fit of the non-Dimasa tribes in Dima Hasao dis­trict in its meet­ing on Fri­day at its head­quar­ters in Ham­peopet, unan­i­mously elected N Gam­lien Hmar as the new ‘c-in-c’ and Nicky as the new finance sec­re­tary. Lun­neh Kuki, the self-styled pub­lic­ity sec­re­tary of the out­fit informed The Sen­tinel. Army on Novem­ber 5 arrested nine HTF mil­i­tants includ­ing its ‘c-in-c’ Ben­jamin and finance sec­re­tary Alex from Arda vil­lage.
