University Grants Commission invites applications for the award of 1000 PG Scholarships under the scheme of PG Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC & ST candidates for the year 2011-2012 to undertake postgraduate level studies in professional subjects like Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy etc. on regular basis only.Only those candidates who have been admitted in postgraduate professional subjects at recognised universities/colleges during the academic session 2011-12 are eligible to apply under the scheme.
Selection will be made on the basis of merit by the Expert Committee. The guidelines of the scheme, detailed terms and conditions of the Scholarship, eligibility etc. may be seen by logging in the UGC website at www.ugc.ac.in
HOW TO APPLY : Applications in the prescribed format may be submitted only through on line mode latest by 27th October, 2011.
