Applications are invited for the following temporary positions in the Ministry of Earth Sciences’ RDEAS Programme sponsored project entitled “Physicochemical characterization of aerosol and source apportionment in midBrahmaputra plain in Assam: a modeling approach” in the Department of Environmental Science, Tezpur University.Positions : 1. Junior Research Fellow 01(one)
Qualification :M.Sc. in Earth/ Environmental Sciences or Chemistry or Physics and have qualified ‘NET Lecturership’ conducted by CSIR/ UGC. A good academic background with knowledge of atmospheric chemistry and statistical software, is desirable.
Stipend : Rs. 12,000/ p.m. with HRA. On completion of 2 years the JRF position will be, subsequently, upgraded to SRF with a stipend of Rs. 14,000/ p.m. + HRA.
Duration : 3 (three) years or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
