Manipur Research Forum (Imphal & Delhi), is organizing a colloquium on the themeMilitarism and Future of Democracy in Manipur from the 24th of March till the 26th ofMarch 2011. This colloquium organized in collaboration with the Department of Philosophy,Manipur University, Canchipur; All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union, Imphal; HumanRights Alert, Imphal and Indian Council of Social Science Research -NERC, Shillong; willbe held at the Senate Hall Manipur University, Canchipur, Imphal.We, the undersigned, on behalf of our respective organization/department would like torequest your participation in the colloquium. We would be extremely happy if you join us inthe colloquium and interact and discuss on the themes as attached in the concept note.We hope the colloquium, in a humble way, would initiate a beginning towards a culture ofopen and soul-searching deliberation to recover human freedom and spirit of democracy.
