Aizawl, Sept. 30, 2025: The Mizo National Front – Integration Movement (MNF-IM) has declared its strong and unconditional support for the “Muvanlai Accord” signed between Kuki-Zo civil society leaders and the United Kuki National Army (UKNA) on September 9, 2025.
In a statement issued from its headquarters, MNF-IM said its endorsement reflects the “collective sentiment and aspirations” of the Kuki-Zomi-Hmar population, which seeks total separation from what it described as the “Meitei-ruled apartheid state of Manipur.”
The group affirmed that it would “always stand to support or lend a helping hand” to the Kuki-Zomi-Hmar brethren in their struggle for justice, security, and unification.
MNF-IM also appealed to the Government of India, the Governor of Manipur, and the Government of Mizoram to expedite political negotiations with the KNO/UPF, noting that the people they represent “yearn for urgent political settlement.”

The endorsement comes at a time of heightened political and ethnic tensions in the region, with the Muvanlai Accord gaining traction among Kuki-Zo communities advocating for a separate administrative arrangement.
