CM Lalduhoma Inaugurates 44th MESA Annual General Conference

Aizawl, Sept. 27, 2025: Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma today inaugurated the 44th Annual General Conference of the Mizoram Engineer Service Association (MESA) at the P&E Conference Hall, MINECO, Aizawl.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude to MESA for inviting him and commended the vital role engineers play in the state’s development. He described engineers as some of the most visible contributors to nation-building and urged them to continue supporting government initiatives with dedication.

Pu Lalduhoma highlighted the need for close coordination between engineers and various departments to ensure efficient execution of projects, stressing that sustainable development and progress depend on their committed service.

The event began under the chairmanship of MESA President Er. H. Zoramliana, who extended words of welcome and appreciation. General Secretary Er. Lalhminghlua presented the 2024–25 annual report of MESA, while Vice President Er. Lalrinzuala Ralte delivered the vote of thanks, bringing the session to a close.

The conference also observed solemn moments to remember late members of the Association and held a felicitation for retiring members. Pension-related matters for MESA members were also discussed during the proceedings.

The 44th MESA Conference concluded on a note of unity and commitment, with participants pledging to uphold professional excellence and continue contributing to the state’s growth.
