Mon, August 1, 2025: Reaffirming the BJP’s commitment to inclusive development under the vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas, BJP National Secretary and Prabhari for Nagaland Shri Anil K. Antony visited Longwa village in Mon district, accompanied by key party leaders and office bearers.
Longwa, strategically located on the Indo-Myanmar border, received renewed focus during the visit. Shri Anil Antony, along with BJP Nagaland State President Shri Benjamin Yepthomi, Hon’ble MLA & Advisor Shri Konngam Konyak, and others, visited the residence of Chief Angh Shri Tonaei to highlight the region’s vital role in the Centre’s Act East Policy.
The delegation emphasized that under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Northeast is undergoing a historic transformation. Infrastructure, connectivity, healthcare, education, and border security are being significantly strengthened - marking a shift from years of neglect to a phase of decisive development.

In a subsequent coordination meeting at the BJP Mon District Office, Shri Anil Antony engaged with grassroots karyakartas and party functionaries. Discussions focused on strengthening booth-level networks, energizing local cadre, and enhancing the BJP’s presence across Eastern Nagaland.
District President Shri Hosea Konyak led the session, reinforcing the importance of organizational synergy and sustained outreach in the run-up to Viksit Bharat 2047.
The visit underscores the BJP’s determination to ensure that even the remotest villages like Longwa remain integral to the national growth narrative.
