Lungthulien, April 6, 2025, Virthli (ONP): Under the initiative of the Ngurdinglien Sanate Meritorious Board, the award ceremony for outstanding performers in the Class X (HSLC) exams in Pherzawl District since 2021 was held in a joyful atmosphere on April 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Lungthulien PMS High School Complex.
The event was jointly hosted by Nk. Lalremsiem Sungte and Peaceful Hmar. The program began with a speech by Laltinkim Sanate representing the Ngurdinglien Meritorious Board, followed by a brief history of Pu Ngurdinglien shared by Pu Elmounvel Buongpui. The Hmar Inpui Hmarram Region and HSA Hmarram Joint Headquarters also gave their messages. Pu Zosanglur Joute, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Pherzawl District, gave an inspiring address to the students.
Chief Guest, Pu Ngursanglur Sanate, MLA of 55-Tipaimukh A/C, in his speech, encouraged the young students to stay committed to their goals. He shared that he himself faced similar challenges during his college journey and succeeded with determination. Referring to his father, Pu Ngurdinglien Sanate, he noted that working for the betterment of one’s land and people is a noble calling and encouraged the youth to follow that example.
He urged the students to maintain discipline, set clear goals, stay determined, and work hard. He emphasized that with strong academic performance, financial means and resources will follow, and that national and community progress requires sacrifice, dedication, and commitment. He encouraged the youth to pursue education not just for personal gain but for the advancement of the community.

Best Government High School Award was given to Pherzawl Government High School, including a memento and cash prize.
Best School Award went to Lungthulien PMS, with a memento and cash prize.
Special Achievement Award was given to Kapkhanlian Shoute, Headmaster of Jubilee Standard School, Parbung, with a memento and cash prize.
During the event, students from PMS High School, Lungthulien and NSCBAV Hostel, Parbung performed impressive special items. Performers like Young Fella, B. Lalasanglien Inbuon, Johan H. Lalmalsawma, and Jedidia Joute entertained the audience with songs.
A vote of thanks was delivered by James Pusing, on behalf of the Ngurdinglien Meritorious Board. The program ended with a closing prayer by Rev. Roparlien, followed by a delightful refreshment and communal meal.
