The Hmar Students’ Association held its first meeting under the aegis of the newly constituted State Co-ordinating Committee today at the HSA Office, Rengkai, Churachandpur. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Lalrobul Pudaite and Malsawmthang Ralsun, Coordinator and Secretary of the HSA State Coordinating Committee. All the executives of every Joint Headquarters - Jiri-Vangai, Imphal, Churachandpur and Hmarram were present at the meeting.
A host of issues ranging from socio-political and educational concerning the Hmar Community were minutely discussed and number of resolutions were passed and adopted.
The State Coordinating Committee of the HSA from now onwards will be responsible for all the state level issues concerning the organization, and for building relationships with other community mandated organizations with the knowledge of the General Headquarters.
The meeting of the first State Coordinating Committee of the HSA also acknowledge the Joint Press Release of the HSA JHQ Churachandpur and the KSO Churachandpur on the 25th of June 2016.
