The Joint Meeting between the Joint Action Committee and leaders of the various village committees/authorities and women groups resolved to make the following changes in the agitation schedule effective from Monday, October 5, 2015 till further notice:
1. Relaxation from 5:00AM to 2:00PM., total bandh from 2:00PM onwards. However, the following departments/establishments will be exempted from the bandh - medical, electricity, telecom, water supply (excluding private service providers), media, bank and treasury.
2. Educational institutions are allowed to open till 12:00 noon.
3. Dhamas to be held in the following sites from 2:00PM to 5:00PM: Kangvai, Monglenphai, Lighthouse/Sielmat, Lamka Police Station, District Hospital, Rayburn College (New Lamka).
4. From 5:00PM onwards, the concerned village committees and authorities may make necessary arrangernents to Suit local needs and situations.
