The Magisterial Inquiry instituted by the Government of Manipur vide Government of Manipur Secretariat: Home Department Order dated the 9th September, 2015 is regarding inquiry of the facts and circumstances leading to the incidents of 31st August 2015 and its aftermath, resulting in the arson and deaths.
1. Therefore, it is not a solution to solve the present issue. Hence, magisterial inquiry is not accepted by the public at large.
2. No person/organization/individual shall give any statement in connection with the Magisterial Inquiry.
3. Spot enquiry by Magisterial Inquiry Team is strongly opposed by the general public.
