Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2012) notification has been issued. GATE 2012 online registration will be started from 12th Sep 2011.Eligibility:
Graduates in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture and students in the final year of such courses can apply. Candidates having Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications and students in the final year of such courses are also eligible to apply.
Candidates in the 2nd or higher year of 4-year Integrated Master’s degree course in Engineering/Technology OR in the 4th or higher year of 5-year Integrated Master’s degree course or Dual Degree course in Engineering/Technology OR students with qualifications obtained through exams conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech can also apply. Candidates who have completed section A of such professional courses are also eligible. Pre-final year students are not eligible for GATE 2012.
GATE 2012 Online Exam will be held on 29th Jan 2012 and offline examination will be held on 12th Feb 2012.
For GATE 2012, ONLINE registration will be accessing only by the zonal GATE websites of IISc and seven IITs. Sale of application forms through banks and GATE offices has been stopped now.
