Staff Selection Commission(SSC) NER invites application for the following posts in Assam Rifles

Rifleman(General Duty-GD)-Male: 880 posts

Qualification: 10th pass or Matriculation or High School

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs 2000/-

Age Limit: 18-23 years as on 01.08.2011. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.08.1988 and not later than 31.07.1993. Relaxation as per Government Rules

Application Fee: Rs. 50/-(No fee for Women/SC/ST/PH and Ex-Servicemen)

Recruitment Process: The recruitment will comprise of Height Bar, Prescribed Race, Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Endurance Test (PET), Written Examination and Medical Examination

How to Apply: All the candidates must submit the application to the Regional Director(NER), Staff Selection Commission, Rukmini Nagar, PO: Assam Sachivalaya, Guwahati, Assam-781006 irrespective of the Centre for Written Examination chosen by them.
