Qualification: Candidate should have passed Intermediate/10+2 with pass marks in Mathematics and Physics with a minimum of 50% marks (OR) Should have passed a 3 year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) with at least 50% marks from a Govt. recognised Polytechnic Institute

Age: Born between 01 APRIL 1990 to 31 MAY 1994.
Pay Scale: During training, a stipend of Rs. 5,700/-pm. After completion of training Rs. 15,062/-pm (approximately)

Medical Standards:
Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm.
Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
Vision: Minimum Visual Standard: Unaided 6/36 and correctable to at least 6/9 for each eye with spectacles, Dioptectric power not exceeding + 3.5 including astigmatism. Full field of vision and Defective safe colour vision CP-II/III. Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable.
Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
Health: Candidates should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments. Candidates must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.

25th 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Course Commencing from July 2011

Applications are invited from unmarried male who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and fulfill the eligibility conditions for the grant of Permanent Commission in the Indian Army.

Posts : 85 posts

Qualification : 10+2 (PCM) with 70% marks.

Age : 16 and half to 19 and half years i.e. born between 01 January 1992 and and 01 January 1995 (both days inclusive)

Physical Standard: Height 152 cm and weight 42 kg., better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18Type of Commission : On susccessful completion of 4 years of the course cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt. in Arms/Services as per discretion of Army Hq.
 

Pay Scale : Candidates will be entitled to pay sclae of Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.5400 plus MSP Rs.6000 and other allowances.
 

Mode of Selection: Only selected (shortlisted) candidates will be called for SSB interview at Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore for fives selection process. In which candidates will be put through Psychological test, Group Test and Interview.

Short Service Commission (SSC) in Remount Veterinary Corps
Indian Army invites applications from qualified male veterinary graduates for SSC in Remount Veterinary Corps of Indian Army as per the details given below :

Age : 21-32 years as on 15/09/2010
Qualification : BVSc./BVSc. & AH degree from any recognised Indian University or equivalent.
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6100/- pluus MPS Rs.6000/- plus 25% NPA
Method of Selection : Shortlisting of applications will be done at Directorate General Remount Vetrinary Corps, those found eligible will be called for SSB interview on a specified date. Those who qualify will be detailed to undergo Group Test, Psychological Test and Interview which will extend for a duration o 5 days.
Medical Examination : Candidates recommended by the SSB will go under Medical Examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.
