Imphal, August 22, 2025: Manipur Tourism, Government of Manipur, proudly presented the state’s cultural richness, vibrant festivals, and scenic landscapes at the 40th Annual Convention of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) being held in Puri, Odisha, from August 22 to 25, 2025.
The Manipur delegation, led by Shri Lourembam Bikram (IAS), Director of Tourism, highlighted flagship events such as the Shirui Lily Festival and the Manipur Sangai Festival, projecting Manipur as a must-visit destination for domestic and international travellers.
The prestigious event, inaugurated in the presence of Union Minister of Tourism & Culture Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat along with eminent dignitaries and industry leaders, served as a dynamic platform to forge partnerships, explore innovative tourism strategies, and strengthen Manipur’s presence in India’s tourism map.
