Namsai, July 13, 2025: In a night of music, dreams, and celebration, Tsering Sandup from Tawang district was crowned the winner of Arunachal Idol Season 7 at the spectacular Grand Finale held in Namsai. Sandup’s powerful voice, stage presence, and emotional depth earned him the top honour in a season filled with extraordinary talent from across the state.
Julee Tikkom was declared the first runner-up, while Dakmo Riba and Joyri Longri secured the second and third runner-up positions, respectively. Lobsang Wangmu Damo finished in fifth place.
Following his win, an emotional Tsering Sandup expressed heartfelt gratitude to his supporters, mentors, and the people of Arunachal Pradesh, saying their belief in him was the driving force behind his journey.

Their presence added prestige to an evening that celebrated youth, culture, and grassroots talent.
This season of Arunachal Idol, backed by the Arunachal Idol Organisation and Department of Youth Affairs, and sponsored by KINNARA, showcased a wide range of musical styles—from traditional to contemporary. It offered aspiring artists a transformative platform to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
The show’s continued success under the vision of Pema 3.0 reflects the state government’s commitment to empowering youth, promoting cultural identity, and nurturing creativity at the grassroots level.
