Agartala, July 15, 2025: In a major step to strengthen the state’s education system, the Tripura State Cabinet has approved the recruitment of 915 Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) for secondary schools across the state. The decision, announced by Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, aims to address the shortage of qualified educators for Classes 11 and 12 and improve the overall quality of education.
“This is a significant boost for secondary education in Tripura,” tweeted CM Dr. Manik Saha. “It will help enhance academic standards and ensure that students receive quality instruction from subject specialists.”
