Senapati, July 17, 2025: In a commendable display of civic action, Manipur Police, in coordination with the Drivers Union Senapati, undertook urgent road repair work on the bypass route connecting Chakabama (Nagaland) to Martyr's Park, Senapati.
The effort was launched on Thursday after several vehicles were reported stranded due to the poor condition of the road. With the repairs completed, traffic movement along the route has now resumed.

As part of the humanitarian effort, the police also distributed snacks, drinking water, and other essentials to the stranded truck drivers, providing much-needed relief amid challenging conditions.
The initiative has been widely appreciated by the local community and transporters, highlighting the vital role of police-community cooperation in times of need.
